Warehouse & Shipping Supervisor.

About Us.

Exalt Printing Solutions is a fast-growing commercial printing company based in Carrollton, TX. We partner with large enterprises and high-growth consumer brands to deliver high-volume, quality-first print production on demanding timelines. Our warehouse and shipping function is mission-critical: when volumes spike during the holiday season, we need a leader who has been there before and knows exactly how to execute.

Position Summary.

The Warehouse & Shipping Manager owns the full inbound/outbound logistics operation — from receiving raw materials and substrates through order fulfillment, carrier management, and final shipment. This role is responsible for running a safe, accurate, and fast warehouse that can scale aggressively during peak periods. The right candidate has managed high-volume outbound shipping operations, has direct experience leading multi-shift warehouse teams, and has a verifiable track record of navigating holiday peak ramp-ups — including surge staffing, carrier capacity planning, and SLA defense under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
  • Manage all inbound receiving, inventory control, material storage, and outbound fulfillment

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for substrates, finished goods, packaging materials, and consumables

  • Develop and enforce SOPs for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping

  • Ensure facility organization, safety compliance, and OSHA standards are maintained at all times

Shipping & Carrier Management
  • Own all carrier relationships (UPS, FedEx, USPS, LTL/freight) and negotiate rates in partnership with leadership

  • Manage daily shipping operations to ensure on-time delivery against client SLAs

  • Monitor carrier performance metrics and escalate service failures proactively

  • Maintain proficiency with shipping platforms (Shppo, ShipStation, EasyPost, or equivalent)

Peak Season & Surge Capacity
  • Develop and execute detailed peak season operating plans, including staffing models, carrier capacity reservations, and facility layout adjustments

  • Lead temporary workforce onboarding and training during ramp-up periods, ensuring safety and accuracy standards are upheld

  • Build multi-shift scheduling models that sustain throughput across extended peak operating windows

  • Coordinate closely with the Production Manager to align output pacing with shipping capacity

Team Leadership
  • Directly manage warehouse leads and associates across all shifts

  • Set clear performance expectations and hold team accountable to accuracy, speed, and safety metrics

  • Foster a culture of ownership and urgency without creating burnout during sustained peak periods

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Production Manager to ensure finished goods flow efficiently from press floor to fulfillment

  • Provide regular inventory and shipping status reporting to leadership

  • Support client-specific fulfillment requirements, including special packaging, kitting, or insert instructions

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience

  • Performance bonus tied to shipping accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost targets

  • Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision

  • Paid time off and company holidays

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of warehouse and/or shipping management experience in a high-volume environment (print, e-commerce, 3PL, or similar)

  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-shift warehouse operations

  • Proven, specific experience leading a holiday or peak-season ramp-up — including temporary staffing management, carrier planning, and volume scaling

  • Strong carrier knowledge across small parcel (UPS, FedEx, USPS) and freight; ability to manage and optimize shipping costs

  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping software

  • Solid grasp of inventory control principles and cycle count methodology

  • OSHA/workplace safety knowledge or oversight experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DTC fulfillment operations, particularly for consumer photo or personalized products

  • Experience managing 3PL or staffing agency relationships during surge periods

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
